Character Tiers

Tiers - A System for defining character power. This lenient system describes your character in much higher detail than your "title" (such as Captain or Lieutenant) ever can, will or should. Tiers are, as the name implies, a system of tiered power levels that describe your characters general power and ability. A detailed list can be found below. A tier is the rank your character recieves based on age, powers, history, personality, and your roleplaying skills. However, this isn't to say that tier doesn't matter. If Kenpachi were to fight Hanatarou, who would win? Most likely Kenpachi due to his immense power. Even if Hanatarou's Roleplayer's skills are better, the scale is still tilted towards Kenpachi.

0 Tier: The highest tier possible. Characters of this level are typically organization leaders or extremely strong characters. These characters are more than the word, "Master" could ever mean.

0-A: The strongest of the 0 Tiers. Characters of this level are characters of God-like strength and ability. Their mere presence is enough to choke characters of lower levels. Characters of this level have virtually no trouble with any character - they are the strongest of the strong and the toughest of the tough. An example of characters who belong here: None. They simply do not exist in Bleach Canon. They would certainly put Yamamoto and Juha Bach to shame, that is sure.

0-B: Characters of this level are well on their way to becoming God-like, though usually characters are unable to surpass this level. The gap between B and A is relatively small, though differences are somewhat obvious. A few examples of characters of this level would be Juha Bach and Aizen.

0-C: Approaching the lower end of the 0 Tier characters; these characters are immensely powerful. Their raw power is frightening. They have little trouble fighting those below the tier of 1. An example of a character of this level would be Head Captain Yamamoto.

0-D: Immensely powerful still, these characters are not quite as advanced as characters of 0-C are, though they still pack an amazingly frightening punch. Examples of ones who would fit this Tier would be characters like: Shunsui Kyouraku, Retsu Unohana and Jushiro Ukitake.

1 Tier: Among the strongest of all characters on the site. This Tier is commonly called the, "Captain-Class Tier". Captains and Espada and any other equivalent would be placed here.

1-A: The strongest of all the Captain Class characters. Characters of this level would be Veteran Captains of the Gotei 13, as well as high ranked Espada.Characters of this level have a large advantage over characters considered to be 1-B or lower. The difference is large and noticeable. Characters belonging to this group will likely have completely mastered their Bankai and Resurreccion. Canon examples of those of this level would be Byakuya Kuchiki, Gin Ichimaru and Starrk.

1-B: The gap between 1-B ad 1-A is relatively large. This Tier would be considered the a Seasoned Captain. This makes up most of the Gotei's Captains and high numberedEspada- simply average. Characters of this level have a moderate understanding of their Bankai and Resurreccion. Canon examples of this level would be Soi-Fon, Mayuri and Barraghan.

1-C: The lower level of the Captain-class. Characters of this level have made it to Captaincy or Espadaship some time ago, though they have a lot to learn and master. Their power is greatand certainly rivals all below them with great potentcy. Examples would be Shinji Hirako, Aki Love, Tia Harribel and Toshiro Hitsugaya.

1-D: The lowest of the Captain Class characters. These characters have just been made Captains or Espada and have a lot of work to do, though they are far from being weak. They will utterly crush most under them without a second thought, though those above will prove to be a greater challenge than they may think. A good canon example would be Renji Abari.

2 Tier: This tier represents characters of Lieutenant-class power. They have a terrific grip on their power and their abilities and by all standards are wondrously strong indeed.

2-A: Lieutenants of this class are Veterans for sure! Their power among Lieutenants is more than impressive! They have usually have mastered their Shikai and their powers are near completion. This is really an achievement. An example would be Shuhei Hisagi.

2-B: Lieutenents and other characters of this level are quite seasoned. They have more than a firm grasp of their powers and are tremendously powerful. Their power is certainly nothing to be ashamed of. Members here have a moderate understanding of their Shikai. An example would easily be Rangiku Matsumoto.

2-C: Lieutenents who have worked in the field for a bit are to be found here. Their power is in the process of maturing and they have a great and marvelous grip on their powers. They're smart and they know what they're doing. Most of the time. An example would be, perhaps, Kira of the Third Division.

2-D: New lieutenants and highly seasoned high seated officers would be found here. Their power is unrivaled by those below them, though those above them would make quick work of them in push came to shove. Their powers have truly began to develop into something great and they're likely extremely eager to prove themselves to the world. A good example would be Momo Hinamori.

3 Tier: This represents the Seated characters of the site. Seated members would be placed here.

3-A: high seated members would be ranked among here. Seats 3-5 are the members that hold this rank. They're powerful and they know what they're doing. They're a force to be reckoned with, though you won't hear them brag too much around people stronger than them, because the gap is likely large.

3-B: Mid numbered seated members are found here. Power ranges differ depending on the seat. this rank is a versatile Tier. Members seated 6-10 are found here.

3-C: Alright. You need some work here. You're not exactly incompetent, though you're not competent either. You're not a fool, but you're certainly not a genius. You have some work to do if you want to advance any further. Characters ranked 11-15th seat will be found here.

4-C: You've made it! Yes you sure have, you've made it to the realm of the seated officers! You're much more powerful than the non seated officers and you truthfully do know what you are doing. It is a great honor that you got where you are not, but you have a long way to go before you make a name for yourself, remember that.

4 Tier: This represents the unseated members of the Gotei and even the Academy Students, as well as anyone else of equal power.

4-A: You're well on your war to earning that position within the Gotei. If you just work a little harder and prove to your Captain that you can do what you say you can do, then you'll have made it! You're on your way to becoming great, or... are you on your way to getting on your way? Who knows~

4-B: You've passed the Academy Graduation Exam and you've been accepted into the Gotei, though you are not a seated member. You remain an unnamed officer within a Squad and you desire greatly to be recognized for your actions, even though you're far from being able to do so.

4-C: You're probably in the academy, working your tired little butt off. You're learning the basics of everything and you're probably not doing too bad, but the road ahead is extensive indeed.

4-D: Welcome to the Academy! Oh? You said you want to join? ...hmm, I'm not sure if you're what we're looking for, but you're free to take our Entrance Exam...
